Who We Are
Our club members are both new and seasoned tournament bass anglers. A few of our members have been with us from the beginning! For some, tournament bass fishing is brand new and FBT is a great place to learn both basic and advanced techniques to quickly hone one’s skills. We meet once a month and our meetings are held both online via Zoom, and in-person. Most months we have well-known guest speakers from the bass fishing industry to talk about the latest techniques, baits, and their experiences on the lakes we hold our tournaments on. We also have a great raffle with excellent prizes!
Many members of FBT also compete in other NorCal circuits such as the Future Pro Tour (FPT), and Best Bass Tournaments (BBT) as well as others. Some of our members have honed their skills and advanced to the pro level and compete at the highest level! If this sounds like something you are striving for, you have found your tribe!
HOW DOES FBT WORK?
We fish a shared weight team tournament format once a month and teams are chosen by random draw, pairing a boater and non-boater. We generally change lakes each month to fish water at their best times. Some of the water we regularly fish include Clear Lake, the California Delta, Lake Berryessa, Folsom Lake, Lake Camanche, Lake Oroville, Bullards Bar, and many others. Our club season runs from October to August, with the Tournament of Champions in September.
- FBT Annual Dues are $20
- Each tournament is $50 per person
- Raffle Entry is $5 for single or 5 entries for $20
- Meetings are held at Sierra View Country Club in Roseville
- Boat is not mandatory but having a boater card is
- Must be 16 or older to be a member
